My daughter Melanie and her new husband Nigel held their wedding at your beautiful manor house on Friday 12th march 2010. What a beautiful wedding and beautiful day. Everything was done so well, the rooms are magnificent, the gazebo area looked amazing and even though it was a very hot day, 39 deg, the trees were very welcome and made it all so much more comfortable, a breeze wafted in about 4.30pm and then it was glorious outside.  Read more »

A devastating fire that destroyed more than 30 homes near the West Australian wheatbelt town of Toodyay has been declared a state natural disaster.

This town is just a small drive north east of Perth.  The Shire of Toodyay, bordering the north eastern edge of the Perth metropolitan area, spans an area of 1683 square kilometres, and lays claim to some of the most magnificent examples of natural and cultural heritage in Western Australia.

Ever generous, people from Rockingham are rallying to the cause to help the residents of Toodyay.

Wizard Entertainment and Peel Manor House  are organising a 'Family Day' which will include music, entertainment, raffles and a silent auction on the beautiful Peel Manor Estate  Baldivis / Karnup  (www.peelmanorhouse.com.au.)  Peel Manor is situated  35 minutes south of the Perth and is superbly situated on twelve acres of peaceful grounds, with a country mansion, great character, charm and is an ideal central location for such an event.

Local Community group, Rockingham Regional Arts (www.rra.net.au) will also provide assistance and preparation on the day along with Chella Designs and many more .

What an experience! Dave and I got married on the 14th October; a day I had waited all my life for! It was an incredible experience right from the beginning. Mind you, the proposal "So will ya....", left a bit to be desired! However he has made up for it since and made a very dashing groom in his tall hat and cane!

We thought we would get married in the Swan Valley, and therefore set off looking for the right destination. Most venues we found catered for too many or not enough people and didn't have a large dance floor. As Dave and I met whilst undertaking ballroom dancing lessons, a large dance floor was a prerequisite. Read more »
